Irena Matulic, MArch, Assoc AIA
Founder/Lead Designer/Project Manager
​
Irena completed her Bachelor of Urban Design program at the Faculty of Architecture, University of Sarajevo, and received her Master of Architecture Degree from the Boston Architectural College. She gained over twenty years of experience working for notable Boston-area architectural firms on residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, including many multimillion-dollar residential award-winning designs. She has extensive experience in all project phases, including zoning reviews, permitting and construction administration. Her broad professional experience includes interior design, space planning, historic preservation, building envelope renovation, master planning and urban design. She is currently preparing for completion of her architectural licensing exam.

Irena founded Doma Homes in 2016 with a passion for advancing comfort and quality of homes and spaces, as well as their sustainability and affordability, especially for middle-income homes. Her work has been awarded for both innovations and design mentorship. Her patent pending design is currently exhibited at the Boston Society for Architecture.
​
Irena is active in her native Croatian community, and is on the boards of directors of two Croatian-American non-profits.

Sarah Ritch, LEED AP
Consultant

Sarah received her Bachelor of Science in Art History from Skidmore College and her Master of Architecture Degree from the Boston Architectural College. She worked for several prestigious Boston-based architecture firms and has run her own consulting practice since 2007. Over her long career she has collaborated with larger architecture firms, developers, landlords and homeowners alike on projects ranging from multi-family redevelopments, to commercial interiors and residential renovations.
Sarah's extensive experience in managing various residential and commercial projects, as well as her LEED expertise, make her a key part of the team.
Jane Estella, RA
Consultant

Jane received her Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute, her Associate's in Architectural Engineering Degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology and her Associate's in Interior Design Degree from Chamberlayne Junior College. A registered architect, Jane brings over thirty years of experience in all aspects of architectural and interior planning and design, spanning from single and multi-family homes, to commercial, institutional and corporate projects.
Jane's experience in managing complex projects, as well as her consummate professional guidance, make her a key part of the team.

She is also an accomplished award-winning sculptor.
Jose Guzman, AIA
Consultant

Jose received his Bachelor of Architecture from The University of Texas in Austin. He has over thirty years of experience encompassing diverse building types and uses, from single and multifamily housing to commercial and institutional projects in both public and private sectors.
​
Jose enjoys working within complex environments, the wide spectrum of social, cultural, economic and environmental challenges and the diversity of people involved in a project. He understands and learns from the needs, concerns and values of each person who has a stake in the project and operates in a holistic and strategic way to achieve solutions that reflect both the integrity and diversity of the team.
Jose is a valuable member of our team because of his extensive experience with multifamily and community-involved projects. He believes that a thoughtful design can significantly impact a community in a positive way and has built his reputation by developing and incorporating community input, trust, and support into his work.
Indira Haler Lovejoy

Indira's background includes financial and administrative experience in various industries, including sales and marketing. Her diverse experience in business operations makes her an integral part of the team.
